The Story Behind This Wavy End Grain Cutting Board
Some projects begin with a plan.
Others begin with a simple idea that won't leave you alone.
This board started with a question: What would happen if a cutting board didn't have to be made from perfectly straight lines? I wanted to create something that felt like it had movement—something that looked different without losing the function a good hardwood cutting board should have.
The result was a design that challenged me in ways I didn't expect and reminded me that the best projects often begin by trying something new.
Below you'll find the finished board, a few thoughts from the build, and the full YouTube video if you'd like to follow the entire journey.
