This magnetic salt cellar is crafted from solid cherry and white oak, paired for contrast and balance.
The body is shaped from cherry for warmth and depth. The lid is white oak, lighter in tone with subtle grain movement. Together, they create a clean two-wood composition that feels intentional without being loud.
A hidden magnet allows the lid to swivel smoothly and close securely. No visible hardware. No hinges.
Sized for countertop use, it keeps finishing salt within easy reach while cooking and serves just as well on the table.
Each piece is shaped, sanded, and finished by hand in my shop. Grain and color variation will differ slightly from piece to piece.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth after use and dry promptly.
Do not soak, place in the dishwasher, or leave exposed to standing water for extended periods.
To maintain the finish and richness of the wood, apply a food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner as needed.
Avoid extreme heat and direct prolonged sunlight.
With proper care, this piece is built to last for years of everyday use.
